Qui arrive ce soir ? kit

This comedic theatre piece deals with not only peer relationships but also with the common issue of the generation gap as we follow the lives of the main characters who appear in the previous play. In the second play in this trilogy a high school student wins a girl's heart with his talent and his caring attitude. In this third play, she invites him home to meet her parents. The ending to the story is unfinished and it is up to the students to write their own.

Students who have completed the first two kits can continue their rapid proficiency development in this third-step kit. As in the other kits, vocabulary and grammatical structures are introduced and reinforced through gestures, drama and songs.

Renée et les Algonquins- Reader

The story begins the morning of a school field trip to the former site of an Algonquin settlement near Ottawa. As a teenage girl named Renée is preparing to leave, she and her mother argue over her lack of responsibility. Renée is frustrated by her mother's comments and is not interested in this field trip, making it very clear that she would rather be at the mall with her friends. During the field trip, Renée trips and falls in the forest. Suddenly things change and she finds herself among the Algonquins. Is this real or just a dream? This story deals with relationships between adolescents and adults in our time and compares them with the relationships between people of different ages in native societies. Respect and awareness of the environment is another subject that is important in this story.

We solve many of the challenges language teachers face.

Learn about some of the challenges Primary School Teachers face when teaching languages.

The Gesture Approach

The AIM is a methodology that supports students by providing strategies and techniques that ensure student language acquisition and a high level of engagement. The Gesture Approach allows students to visualize, hear, say and 'feel' the language simultaneously, and this results in rapid proficiency development.

A Literacy- and Arts-Based Approach

Through the use of story and drama, songs, raps, and dances, students are moving to the language as they create meaning. Scaffolding and cooperative learning strategies help all students - the shy, weak, and strong - to find great support and success.

High-Frequency Vocabulary

One of the most essential aspects of AIM that ensures student success is the high-frequency vocabulary (Pared-Down Language) that threads throughout every aspect of this methodology. AIM is designed such that each word is repeated extensively, allowing students to develop a strong foundation for language proficiency.
