Veux-tu danser ? kit

This play is more challenging than the first and is a true theatre piece that includes not only the spoken word but musical and dance components as well. It's a wonderful story that contains a message about the importance of believing in oneself and the nature of true friendship.

As in the first kit, vocabulary and grammatical structures are introduced and reinforced through gestures, drama and songs. Your class will love the fast-paced and funny play about a high school student who wins a girl's heart with his talent and his caring attitude.

Ali et la pluie

Ali lives in a North African village with his wife, Nadia. One day he decides to clean his water tank, a job that he has not done for ten years (during which time his waistline has expanded considerably). His problems start when he has trouble fitting through the opening at the top of the tank, then he is attacked by mosquitoes and finally, when rain starts to fill the tank, he remembers that he does not know how to swim. Nadia has been practising her dance routine during this time so has not heard his cries for help, but eventually she arrives and rescues him from drowning.

At the beginning of the story, Marie decides that she no longer wants to allow Pierre to make all the plans, and sets out on her own. The two decide to meet up in Paris a couple of days later at the Arc de Triomphe. Unfortunately, neither Marie nor Pierre realizes that this day is not a good choice if you want to find someone in this location, as it is the celebration of Le jour de l’Armistice!

We solve many of the challenges language teachers face.

Learn about some of the challenges Primary School Teachers face when teaching languages.

The Gesture Approach

The AIM is a methodology that supports students by providing strategies and techniques that ensure student language acquisition and a high level of engagement. The Gesture Approach allows students to visualize, hear, say and 'feel' the language simultaneously, and this results in rapid proficiency development.

A Literacy- and Arts-Based Approach

Through the use of story and drama, songs, raps, and dances, students are moving to the language as they create meaning. Scaffolding and cooperative learning strategies help all students - the shy, weak, and strong - to find great support and success.

High-Frequency Vocabulary

One of the most essential aspects of AIM that ensures student success is the high-frequency vocabulary (Pared-Down Language) that threads throughout every aspect of this methodology. AIM is designed such that each word is repeated extensively, allowing students to develop a strong foundation for language proficiency.
